Restoring this old house to turn it into a warm and comfortable hotel was not an easy task for its present owners. For almost three years the owners were still hard at it, taking great care over every detail. Interior decoration is based on three key elements: tilla – pine wood - , steel and stone. The perfect integration of the elevator / lift into the traditional structure of the building comfortably permits the accessibility to every part of it. Let’s go through the different spaces of this little rural hotel together.

| |  Reception and lounge are the oldest parts of the building. It reproduces and old oil and vinegar shop*, mixing elements from advanced technology with genuine museum pieces. Its original stone carved floor is really remarkable. * Old traditional shops in Gran Canaria, specially in the countryside. |

 |  | An elegant room in front of reception and next to the Canarian courtyard. Silence and a peace atmosphere invites reading, surrounded by a beautiful scenery and the light coming from the fireplace. |

 |  | It still keeps old years’ atmosphere. Antique streetlamps, used to light the streets of Tejeda for the first time in 1931, light our courtyard too. Like any self-respecting Canarian courtyard, it has its own water and shade for guests to find peace and calm. |

 |  | It holds about 32 guests in a harmonic atmosphere, where oil paintings on old pine wood seem to be alive. Its little bar, made with a wood thresher, is really remarkable. A space designed to enjoy the selected local gastronomy, such as pumpkin omelette with local honey, fist or firewood bread*, potatoes soup cream, home made bienmesabe or cumin fillet with garlic. * Traditional way of baking, typical from the highlands of Gran Canaria. |

 |  | | This room departs from the general style and interiors of the whole building. It fulfils the demands from any congress member. Holding about 25 people, it is the right place to guarantee a successful event. |

All of them are comfortable, open to natural light, and they all have a beautiful landscape to gaze at the magnitude of nature at Tejeda’s basin. They are also fully equipped to satisfy the most demanding guest: air-conditioned, piped music, internet, digital TV, telephone, mini – bar, hairdryer, thermostatic bathroom fittings. |

 |  | A great open to sunlight area, it also has a shower, and the space is surrounded by a 8 metres bench, hand made on stone from the island of La Gomera. Its location turns it into the perfect space to sunbathe, enjoy a good book or just sit down and gaze at the spectacular sunsets from Tejeda. Emotions will be difficult to tell. |  |  |
