Cueva de la Tea is located in the main street of town. Open since 1995 it’s an example of typical canarian architecture. The room is elegantly furnished, and its design is based in the past cestury’s style. Holding 70 people, it harmoniously combines elegant interiors with a comfort atmosphere. A 4.7 x 1.20 metres landscape picture over the wood and stone bar is really remarkable, it is a Palenciano’s work representing the view of Tejeda’s basin from the highlands of the island. Awrdwinner in Gran Canaria Tourist Board Contest “Se premia lo Canario”, in Tourist Establishments category, 1995.
